Big News - Added Organic CBD Business

Yeah,  you read that right!

Along with Clean-Crafted™ Wine from Scout & Cellar, I jumped into USDA Organic CBD products through Green Compass Global.  I have major issues with arthritis from my time in the Army and their Reduce Roll On Pain Reliever made me a believer.

If you currently use CBD, I'd love to have a chance to earn your business.  I'd be glad to give you a discount code to try Green Compass Global products.

If you are looking for a great business opportunity...this could be that for you as well!  Check out the attached flyer.  We have several times tomorrow 12/13/22 to catch a Zoom call with more details...if this is something you're interested in pursuing.  Let me know and I'll send over the login info for the Zoom.  First one is at 10 EST/9 CST.

Clean-Crafted Wine made sense and USDA Organic CBD makes sense as well.

Terry Hennessee is riding and raising money for cancer support....

Dear Blog,

Once again in 2014 I have taken the challenge of riding in 24 Hours of Booty in memory of family and friends who have run out of time waiting on a cure for cancer and in honor of those surviving today fighting for their lives.  I have been riding this event for 9 years now and dedicate my time to helping organize and putting on the ride in Charlotte.  The people of 24 Hours of Booty are more than just another group of people banding together with a similar cause...they are my family.

If you are new to my fundraising emails or have never heard of 24 Hours of Booty here is a crash course:  24 Hours of Booty conducts annual 24 hour cycling events, which increase public awareness and support for cancer research and programs, while raising funds to support the The LIVESTRONG Foundation and the Levine Cancer Center, right here in Charlotte.

How can YOU help?  I am asking you to help by supporting my fundraising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a real difference in the cancer community. It is faster and easier than ever to support me as a 24 Hours of Booty participant - you can make your donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. If you would prefer, you can also send your tax-deductible contribution to the address listed below.

Any amount you can give, great or small, helps in the fight against cancer. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress!

Doctor's visit

Today, my doctor basically cut me loose. I am having some issues with scar tissue and pain but he said that was normal, my hamstring tenderness is normal (and will take the most time to heal), and that I should discontinue formal therapy. I just called the therapist and moved my final appointment to late in the afternoon so he can evaluate me for discharge.

I am so ready to start riding again. The only real warning I received was to avoid "cutting" sports until at least July. So, I will keep posting updates here on a regular basis to let people know how my "personal rehab" is going.

3 Months...

Well, it has been awhile since my last post.  I have my 15 week follow up tomorrow morning.  I went to therapy today after a week of really unusual pain below my knee.  My therapist says that it is "scar tissue" and it is normal. I was told that I need to massage the scar tissue.  I was also told it could be tendonitis which is normal...according to the therapist.

I have tried riding my bike on my trainer a few times and the knee really isn't ready.  Maybe it is the scar tissue...I don't know but I have to get it ready to go....gotta ride 200 miles in July...

Week 12 Update

Sorry for slacking off the posting.  All is going well now with the exception of noticeable stiffness behind my knee when I go to get up from sitting in a chair.  After a little bit of a stretch it goes away.

5 more scheduled physical therapy sessions before my next doctor follow up.  Hopefully, that will wrap up the guided therapy.  We will see...

12 week update

Okay, I've been negligent and not posted in a few days. So, here we go.

This wwek I feel like I have hit a wall in my therapy and recovery. My knee and leg have been extremely sore and aching this week. Therapy has been a challenge with me leaving after each session limping again. I know I am progressing and feel that progress but...it's been a tough week.

Oh, and my new most hated exercise....lunge walking.!!! Talk about a challenging and painful exercise!!!! More updates to come

Wow, it's been awhile

Okay, so I am probably losing all of my loyal readers because I haven't posted in awhile...so let's get caught up.

Therapy is now down to the last official 2 weeks. I am still struggling with some of the strengthening "twitch" muscle exercises but am being persistent. By the time I am released in a couple of weeks I hope to have a good solid start on those muscles. Remember I have not used them properly in 19 years.

What I am doing is spinning on my bike every chance I get. The 24 Hours of Booty will be here before I know it and I am shooting for 200 miles this year.
